Based in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, with service hubs all over the country, our team strives to provide success to individuals and families with very dynamic and tactical wealth care. Our name, Klaraos is a play on the word Klarit, which means "clarity" in German, while the "AOS" that finishes our name is a play on Chaos. We quite simply want to represent Clarity through Chaos, or Klaraos.

CEO and Founder
Graduating from St. Louis, from where he later earned an MBA, JJ began his career as a CPA in an accountancy practice in St. Louis. Later he joined Coopers and Lybrand, now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers. During his time as a public accountant, he worked closely with clients in small and large businesses on financial issues, particularly in the medical industry. Later he further developed his skills in mergers and acquisitions and was instrumental in leading companies through the M&A process – creating exit strategies for owners and developing acquisition financial packages.

Graduating from University of Nevada, Reno with her B.S. in Marketing, Sydney has had extensive experience in client relations, human resource management and wealth management operations that aid in her drive and determination to deliver the most to clients. Along with being a Realtor and many years of experience in the real estate field, she has worked along side some of the top marketing minds in the world today to better understand the lines of communication and client trust that enable a successful and honest financial environment. The Klaraos team strives to develop a personal, private, and long term relationship with you built on mutual trust with a deep understanding of your financial and personal world.

Graduating from The University of Arizona with a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Geoff began his career as the Vice President of Zahler Enterprises, Inc., a Real Estate Development and General Contracting corporation in Incline Village. Handling all financial responsibilities for the company, Geoff worked closely with investors, lenders and subcontractors to ensure proper financial reporting during the acquisition, construction, and sale phases. Since joining Klaraos, Geoff has earned his Investment Advisor Representative license to help better suit its clients needs.

The newest member to the Klaraos team, Tim graduated from Sierra Nevada College in 2007 with a B.S. in Ski Business Management. An internship at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort turned into a fulltime position in the accounting department. He brings to Klaraos his experience working for Sugar Bowl, along with two decades of experience from his families farming business back in Washington State. Tim is currently enjoying all that Lake Tahoe has to offer with his wife and is contemplating furthering his education at the University of Nevada, Reno.

A recent graduate from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Martina brings to Klaraos a double major in Business Management and International Business. Martina grew up in Sweden, attending four years at Malung’s Alpine Ski high school in Sweden. Her experience and love for the sport encouraged her to look for colleges with ski teams in the United States. Sierra Nevada College had what she needed: a Business Program and a Ski Team. For the last five years, Martina has spent her time in beautiful Lake Tahoe and is loving everything it has to offer. Martina has banking experience from both Sweden and the US, and since joining Klaraos, she has worked with new client relations as well as trading.
